The collection, use, disclosure and retention of your Personal Information are regulated by law in British Columbia. CHIKIDS recognizes the importance of confidentiality and the protection of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we use and protect Personal Information we hold, whether it relates to our clients, potential clients, staff, job candidates, consultants, or third party service providers.
“Personal Information” is information about an identifiable individual or information that permits an individual to be identified. It does not include business contact information, such as name, title, business address and business telephone number when used for business communications.
CHIKIDS collects and uses your Personal Information primarily to provide you with programs, services, products and information you may require, and to collect payment for the provision of services and products. CHIKIDS also collects and uses your Personal Information to enable it to manage and develop its operations and to meet legal and regulatory requirements. CHIKIDS will limit the amount and type of personal information collected to that which is reasonable and necessary to fulfill its stated purposes.
CHIKIDS may share your personal information with selected third parties who are acting on our behalf as our agents, suppliers or service providers. Using contractual or other arrangements, CHIKIDS shall ensure that agents, contractors and third party service providers, who may receive Personal Information in the course of providing services to CHIKIDS as part of our delivery of products and services, protect that Personal Information in a manner consistent with the principles articulated in this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
